I don't know what it is but lately I've been taking to more nonfiction books this year than any other year. While it doesn't dominate my read list, it now makes a significant portion, about a quarter compared to years before where the only nonfiction books would have been my textbooks. One pattern in the books I've read of late is the topic of cons. In Mistborn. we see a team of con men pulling off a revolution, dissecting government security like it was no more than minor obstacles for the ultimate heist. As the last day of this month, I'm more or less finished my program except for a couple of correspondence courses. My main worry still is and will remain so until I get a letter from Memorial stating that I've been welcomed in.
